This guide is a bit rough around the edges but if u polish it, like nekrosoft13 said, then we will definitely have to make this a sticky!

tried the tweak but stalker still runs like hl2 on a 64mb igp with no pixel shader support. very painfully slowly

soon as i step outside fps drops to craptastic, even if i go back down those stairs the fps stay the same which is weird, as the game should only be focusing on the indoors bit right? this game has issues, it runs worse than vegas!

I think Vista is going to be going through this kind of stuff for at least a year (and I think that guess is conservative). It's why I'm in no hurry to move to it. For me, I think it will be awhile before Vista moves from my current "don't want/need it" to a future "must have it". I gotta have a better reason than, "it's new, gonna get it just because".

Hey Nekro, did you get TDU stuttering before? If so, did you try this patch and did it help?

I can confirm it makes no difference in EA Sports FIFA 07 (and probably NBA Live 07, Madden 07, NHL 07 etc... knowing EA).

Though a good one to try would be Unreal Tournament 2004, which is notorious for 'stuttering'
