Thanks. If not, I just might buy the DDR2 1066 Dominator kit. It really isn't too expensive compared to the DDR2 800 Dominator kit. Hmm...

It's been going strong for over a month now and is pretty stable. Only bad thing is that I'm still on a beta bios, but hopefully they'll release an official soon.

That's pretty much how I feel about the 680i as well. I've pretty much decided that I'll be getting the ASUS CrossHair mobo, it just fits what I'm wanting perfectly. One of the main things I like about it is that even with two dual slot graphics cards in SLi, I could still use two PCI slots if I liked. You wont hear me complaining about that.

Man, I'm really wanting to get that 6000 right now. But I'm holding out. I'm gonna' purchase the tower first. Then with the two paychecks I get next week, I'll probably get both the mobo and the 6000.

This is gonna' be one rockin' setup.

Yup.

I've actually felt like this since you pointed out how cheap the 6000 is. But come Monday it'll be even less expensive (hopefully).

I'm also so stoked cause this is gonna' be my first ever water-cooled rig. It'll be sweet.

Yea...that's the thing...I hear it's hit or miss with those boards....

I just looked at newegg and the price is still at $319.00. I think it's gonna go even lower Monday.

There is a price history of X2 6000 at one of our local shop (in the Czech republic).
http://www.czechcomputer.cz/product_...sp?artno=43831.
It is in Czech crowns, in USD it is about 280$. In one other shop, the price was even lower (about 270$).

And the prices in Europe are usually higher than in the US so I think your patience will be well rewarded
