Unhappy 1.0-9755 crashes X when clicking on "OpenGL/GLX Information"

Since upgrading my Fedora Core 6 x86_64 system to driver version 1.0-9755, X crashes whenever I click on "OpenGL/GLX Information" in the nvidia-settings applet. (If only that were the only time it crashes; it also crashes whenever the screen saver comes on.)

I've attached a bug report log.

You're not using the GLX module that ships with the nvidia driver:
(II) Loading /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so
(II) Module glx: vendor="X.Org Foundation"
compiled for 7.1.1, module version = 1.0.0
ABI class: X.Org Server Extension, version 0.3

This suggests that the NVIDIA driver is not correctly installed.

indeed, you will have to reinstall the nvidia driver... This means that you replaced libglx.so with that of the Xorg packages from Core 6 (in other words, you updated Xorg), meaning you will have to reinstall the driver.

Indeed; reinstalling the driver did the trick. Thank you.
