Do you have /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2? If not, try extracting the package with the -x flag, entering the extracted directory, and running nvidia-installer with

I have this exact same problem and get "./nvidia-installer-no such file or directory" when i do the above instructions.
debian:/home/matt/Desktop/NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-9755-pkg2# ldd nvidia-installer
not a dynamic executable

Since you don't have /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2, you need to follow the instructions in post #4 above.

I followed the above instructions and am still getting "no such file or directory"
debian:/home/matt# cd Desktop/Nvidia
debian:/home/matt/Desktop/Nvidia# dir
NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-9755-pkg2 NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-9755-pkg2.run
debian:/home/matt/Desktop/Nvidia# cd NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-9755-pkg2
debian:/home/matt/Desktop/Nvidia/NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-9755-pkg2# /lib/ld-linux.so.2 ./nvidia-installer
./nvidia-installer: error while loading shared libraries: ./nvidia-installer: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
debian:/home/matt/Desktop/Nvidia/NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-9755-pkg2#

Jesus666,
ld-linux.so.2 is the 32-bit program interpreter. You'll need to use the 64-bit program interpreter as nvidia-installer from that package is a 64-bit application. Do you somehow have a 64-bit kernel with all 32-bit userspace programs?

Now that I think about it, I think I do. I installed the 32 bit version of Debian off the CD, and then changed to the 64 bit kernel to support smp. Thanks, I'm gonna go try and figure out what to do.
