I am using the driver downloaded from the link that i have posted below, and when i am installing i see that is the correct driver.
Why they appear changed in the bug report? |

I wouldn't know why you're running a different driver than you think you are.
Please reinstall 1.0-9755. |

I did this:
sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9755-pkg1.run --x-module-path=`X -showDefaultModulePath 2>&1 | cut -d, -f1` --x-library-path=`X -showDefaultLibPath 2>&1` This installed the drivers, but X still crashed after the drivers install. ![]() |

According to your screenshot, you have no Device section in xorg.conf. I'd suggest deleting or renaming xorg.conf and running nvidia-xconfig to generate a new one.

nvidia-xconfig is not a shell script. Don't run it with sh in front.
