Cannot use my 8800gts with Kubuntu

I am using the driver downloaded from the link that i have posted below, and when i am installing i see that is the correct driver.

Why they appear changed in the bug report?

I wouldn't know why you're running a different driver than you think you are.

Please reinstall 1.0-9755.

But the problem is that i am reinstalling this minimun 7 times :P And i am sure that i am installing the 9755 (i see this in the .run name, when i intall the drivers...). This is very annoying, because i dont know how to resolve the problem.

I did this:

sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9755-pkg1.run --x-module-path=`X -showDefaultModulePath 2>&1 | cut -d, -f1` --x-library-path=`X -showDefaultLibPath 2>&1`

This installed the drivers, but X still crashed after the drivers install.

I tried to install the drivers before of a killall kdm and dont work, but i see this screen on reboot:

According to your screenshot, you have no Device section in xorg.conf. I'd suggest deleting or renaming xorg.conf and running nvidia-xconfig to generate a new one.

When i try to do a sh nvidia-xconfig i obtain this:

kalsten@kalsten-desktop:/usr/bin$ sh nvidia-xconfig
nvidia-xconfig: 1: Syntax error: "(" unexpected

nvidia-xconfig is not a shell script. Don't run it with sh in front.

Then, how can i use the nvidia-xconfig? I tried to do with the execut command (in the kde menu) and nothing appears :P

If i click on it, opens a kate document without anything writting on it, and a message advertising that if i save the document, it will be corrupt.
