well i was thinking, and i might go conroe soon. by soon i mean maybe a month or so.
i was thinking probably go with E6600 for now, in summer when quad drops in price, change to quad. so here is the idea so far E6600 memory still deciding: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146108 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145168 motherboard thats the hard part, there is nothing that really catches my eye. don't really need SLI, but would like 3 PCI (that are not blocked by dual slot cooling card). need plenty of sata. it seems like there are no boards that i really like.

I like the CPU good choice for the $. The dominator memory is awsome I love mine, you can always get the fans for it later on. Do you plan on OCing at all? I can't help on the SLI issue I have never done it. I think the P5B Deluxe is a good mobo if you don't plan on doing SLI, its been very stable and a breeze to setup.

P5B Deluxe or one of the P965 Gigabyte boards are best if you're not going SLI/Crossfire. If you're going SLI, then I'd advise you to go w/ the board I have instead of one of the 680is. Overall it's a more stable, reliable board. Doesn't overclock quite as well, but for the stability it's worth it.
