Everything concerning this very annoying bug/issue seems
to be finally fixed with the new set of beta drivers.

I re-rested it on my 6600 and its really fine now :-)
As fine as it ever should have been

Well that means the thing that really concerned me is fixed now and I can buy nvidia-powered cards again.
Better XRender accaleration would be fine too, but its not as high priority for now for me.
