Looks like the pictures will be even more breathtaking on disc than on TV and that's saying something.

I'm kind of upset that the between-episode "Making of" sequences aren't included on this, but were on the UK version.

I almost want to wait and see if it gets re-released as a Sigourney Weaver narrated version WITH the extras included.

I'm very anxious for it to arrive since the reviews are great, word-of-mouth is great and I've never seen it. I saw a few of the screenshots and it looks like it's going to be really, really nice.

Oddly enough, the BD release is on four BD-25 discs.

Hmm, it would either be on two dual layer or 4 single layer but nothing would remove the multiple discs. Seems like they chose to only release it in single layer format...

Not the formats fault... blame the publisher...

I blame the format for having zero standards and not efficiently utilizing space.

Lack of standards I can understand but how is the disk at fault for not efficiently utilizing space? Isn't it up to the content providers to fill that space? BDs just have it available but if Warner or FOX doesn't put the content there its not the BDs fault for lacking the content.

Im going to start bitching about one TB HDs not efficiently ultilizing space... I mean I bought one and it was empty! WTF!

The MS HDs for the X360 on the other hand are great I buy a 20GB and it comes with 11GB free... yay for efficient and awsome use of space!

Wow great analogy. Comparing a MS HDD filled with backwards compatibility files WHICH YOU CAN DELETE, with BD being a piece of ****.

Why not? They both are a storage medium and are at the mercy of content providers...

Once has mandatory standards which influence effective utilization of space. One doesn't and completely wastes its space using LPCM and MPEG2. Blame the developers right? Wrong. If the PLAYERS had standards advanced codecs could be used when needed.

The HD DVD spec is more than just "a disc"

Cool, my preorder has shipped but unfortunately I didn't choose the faster methods of shipping so the delivery date is supposed to be by May 1st. Last time I chose the normal delivery it arrived early so hopefully that will be the case this time as well.
