Default Kernel panics using 9755 under Solaris Express b60

Hi,

I have had a couple of kernel panics using 9755 under Solaris Express b60
I have a Quadro FX 3500 with a Seiko display on a Dell Precision M90.
I an running the 64 bit kernel.

The first panic produced the following information in /var/adm/messages

Can anyone help me with diagnosing the cause of this problem

Also when I enter text mode after being in graphics mode. For example during a machine shutdown the characters are damaged. By that I mean that the characters are in the right place on the screen. But each characters appears to have several flickering lines through them.

I have configured my Dell M90 laptop as a tri-booter (Vista, Solaris Express b60, and Linux Fedora 6) and have noticed that under linux I get the same text mode problem as under Solaris. That is after exiting graphics mode parts of characters appear damaged and flicker.

You're not alone. Not much help, I know.

I'm also running FC6 x86_64 on a Precision M90 (Quadro FX 2500M) and get screen corruption when switching to text mode. Unfortunately this happens briefly as soon as I first log out and I can't then restore X.

(Driver: NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-9755-pkg2.run)

Smile Re: Kernel panics using 9755 under Solaris Express b60

Just tried the NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-100.14.03-pkg2.run beta driver. No text corruption so far...

The beta also works for me, and I haven't seen any kernel crashes since the original two.
