That's a darn good question.

Not sure if this will make sense, but it might be of help.

Assume you've installed "Windows Media Player Bonus Pack for Windows XP". With WMP open and the current playlist open, select "file", "Save now playing list as". Type in a name that you'd like to use when the save as window opens, but make sure you add the "asx" extension e.g. "Rock Playlist.asx" The file should save in your "my playlists" folder. Open up "Windowsmedia player playlist import to Excel Wizard". In step 3, browse to the "my playlist" folder and you should see what you just saved there.
