Default Non-MS Windows Update? Time to dump IE totally!

http://windowsupdate.62nds.com/

This just seems too good to be true.

I was thinking of removing IE from my systems. I think I've seen one other place or utility like it....

I like IE7 in Vista over Firefox simply because it's more stable.
Firefox constantly stops responding for me.

I don't have Vista.....yet. I was thinking of using nlite and maybe litestep to create a slimmed down copy of windows on my HTPC. I think it could make it close to fool proof while still being customizable. This update system could be perfect for that.

I have a genuine version of windows xp and I use that site and have done for at least a year.

I don't like using IE period. The old IE lacks features and is a security nightmare (pop-up city). I don't like the interface on the new one, with the address bar at the top and tiny buttons for certain functions.

Besides I might've used it anyway, even if IE was my favourite web browser because I have a strong dislike for that Genuine Advantage thing on principle. I feel it is another time-wasting POS that only affects real genuine Windows users, whereas any person with a pirate version and half a brain can get around it anyway.

EDIT: Also, its not like that site is illegal or doing anything wrong. The files you download come direct from the MS server on to your PC (as the EULA dictates must be the case) and MS know about the website allowing users to do this. They have not acted despite knowing of its existence for at least a year or more that I know of...
