tbh, 40-49 seems awfully low min fs to me.
My setup is BFG 7800GS OC Agp stock speed 400/1250 , P4 Prescott 3.0 ghz (not oc'd), and 1 gig (2x512) corsaire value mem.
last time I ran it I got 39 fps min.
As for the rest I'm not sure I'de have to run it again, but I figured we were going off min fps as was posted in the begging of this thread.

Just outta curiosity, is 39-40 fps good, about right?

I think I ran that at 1280x960x32, but everything maxed, 4xfsaa, 16x aniso.

Can you guys look at the first and the second screenshot. Take a close look at the guns on both screenshots. Do you notice that the shot on the bottom, the texture on the gun is all washed out. The only difference is that on the second shot there is minimal light interacting with the gun? Is it supposed to be like this?

I would assume its just the way the lighting interacts with the gun. Man you are one paranoid guy. LOL.

Yeah, I couldn't really even see the gun it was so dark. I think you're just getting too worked up over something that really isn't there. I'm sure the textures are just fine on the gun.

I really shouldn't be the one telling someone else not to get all worked up over something computer related.

You should see how anal retentive I am when I put my PC through stability testing after a nice OC.

Im not satisfied after a OC unless I can get memtest and Orthos to run with zero errors for at least 10+hrs.

100% stability is an absolute must for me.

hmmm...was wondering. If that is the way it is then cool. Never noticed this with 7800 GTX SLI....maybe never looked. Must say 8800 GTX is hell lot faster than 7800 GTX SLI. Now I notice because lil slowdowns

Rainbow 6 Vegas is a bit pants sometimes...but still hell of a lot more playable than before

for r6 vegas rename to unreal.exe for SLI support and turn shadows to very low... that gives like a 3x-4x boost
