Had this game in my hand at Best Buy...stared at it for a good long time...but decided against it.

Quake Wars is right around the corner.

Just was over at circuit city. Wasn't planning on it, but I picked this up. GREAT DEAL at CC.

It was $37.99 and Microsoft Flight Simulator X comes free with it ($49.99). Strange combo, but w/e I'll probably sell flight sim X.

Thanks for the review Captn! Glad you liked it! Now I'll just have to find someone who has the xbox360 version and see if it's any different.

Its identical in every way as far as I know. I haven't played it but that seems to be the general opinion.

It probably runs good and looks good if you have a good TV.

So most of the old shadowrun lore is out then? E.g. actually going on a shadow run to smuggle information, jacking into the matrix, hiring different kinds of shadowrunners (deckers, mages, etc)

Seems so.

Glad I never have been into that I guess.

ARGH! Artificial incompatibility. I call it sabotage. Bill gates and Vista can die in a fire!

I'd still be using Windows 2000 if half the updates that used to be available didn't mysteriously disappear from Windows Updates and now a fresh Windows 2000 install BSOD's about every hour....strangely...with the same hardware and drivers it used to run perfectly on. Sabotage!

Ok, I'm a little irritated...

I just spent 10 minutes trying to get into a server in this game. The auto match making thing just sits and searches endlessly, and the dedicated server browser doesnt come up with any servers most of the time, and when it does there are about half a dozen and they are mostly full and none of them will connect.

Yeah, I know its monday morning... but come on, NO ONE is playing this game right now that I can be matched up with?

EDIT: I just checked their forums and it appears there are lots of issues with the servers and matchmaking right now.

Thats just great...

Hopefully I actually get to play this game some time. I've put 3 hours into it in 4 days and now that I have some days off from work, I can't play it...
