Default A7600gt

Hay there everybody.

I have a p4 with A7600gt-AGP and i cant install it, it seems that none of the methods i tried works, some people said to me that 7600gt agp is not supported by the linux kernel, is it true? i'm very new to linux and dont have any extensive knowledge but i tried few guides from this forum and others installing the drivers and it didnt work, i tried it on suse 10.2 and ubuntu 7.04.
Can someone Please point me to a simple guide or explain to me how is it done or if it is possible at all with this card? i'm intended to use it with a 3d application (maya) so i need a good performance.
Is this agp car supported in linux?

Thanks for everybody in advance!!!

The card does work, For Ubuntu at least they have packaged nvidia drivers - give them a shot, could be easier for you with their documentation on the web. Good luck.
