Default Crap windows experience?

Hello, yesterday I installed Windows Vista Ultimate (I know it took me a long time )

Anyway I did that assesment test and got extremely low scores

I got 5.9 for the cpu
5.9 for the ram
5.9 For Graphics
5.9 for Gaming Graphics
and the worst was the HDD @ 5.5

Windows said that it could only do 1 thing at a time :S sorry cant find the diagnosing thing for hard drives again

How can I improve this admittedly crap score???
cheers

Hehehe he thinks the score goes to 10, lol.

5.9 is the highest possible right now.

He's at 3.7, I would hope he could score a 5.9

5.7 for the cpu
5.9 for the ram
5.9 For Graphics
5.9 for Gaming Graphics
5.2 for the HDD

With my signature system. I think that knowing 5.9 is the maximum... and that I'm still riding IDE HDD for centuries...

sorry about taking so long to reply...

So 5.9 is good??

Im really really annoyed though.

My pc feels really sluggish and crap (not just vista (xp as well). It takes ages to do everything, even with the cpu @ 0-3% and 20% of the ram being used.

What could be the problem????

Do you know any programs for diagnosing HDD problems??? My HDD is extremely hot and is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO noisy

thanks dude...

Hmm 5.9 is good that makes me feel better. Pretty embarrasing though. I naturally thought it was out of 10

thanks again

HDtune can benchmark your HDD

also has Health (S.M.A.R.T) info, its not 100% accurate, just gives you general idea if there has been high heat or to many stop errors.

and to check drive surface run the error scan, it will scan sector by sector to see if there are any bad sectors.
