I'm definitely liking this game I'm up to the Cistern level, it brings back memories of the first game when I first walked in to that area and thought, "Whoaaaa...", because it was so large and awesome.

1920x1200 with 16xQ AA and super high framerates! (8800gts 640mb)

Texture mods. I'm using TombRipper to get the blond hair, blue eyes, and changed face, and Texmod for the half shirt.

There's the best place to start for them if you're interested in that sort of stuff:

Can these outfit mods be used at the beginning of a new game or is it like the original outfits where they only be used after completing a game or level?

If anyone would like to use the Legend outfit in a new game, do this.

Create a folder on same hard drive as the game is installed on and call it "TRAE". In that folder, create another one and call it "Game".

In that one, create another folder and call it "PC".

In the "PC" folder, create a text file using Notepad and call it "TRAE.arg".

In that text file, add the line "-PLAYER lara_legend.

Now when playing Anniversary, you will automatically have the Legend outfit instead of the Anniversary. When wanting to go back to the Anniversary outfit, just delete the line or the whole TRAE folder.

I got that from another forum. Adds new life to the game. I personally like the Legend outfit better so I use that one. With Texmod (using same trick) you can use other outfits in Tombraider Legend too. I am currently using a very cool looking Spiderman outfit in Legend. Blue eyes, streaked hair and a gorgeous red oufit! Very nice!

In Legend the same trick would be creating a "TR7" folder instead of "TRAE". Then the .arg file would be "TR7.arg". When using this trick (for a new game, not a replay) you have to know which stock outfit the modded one is based on so you know what to type in the .arg file.

For example; the Spiderman outfit is based on the Legend Blue outfit. So for that particular outfit, "-PLAYER lara_altc" would be typed into the "TR7.arg" file. Then running Texmod and pointing it to the modded outfit and the game exe would result in the Spiderman outfit being used in the game instead of the stock one (this outfit works in Legend but not Anniversary).

If you are replacing an outfit that the game already contains, Texmod is not needed (using the method I mentioned). If replacing an outfit with an outfit that the game does not contain (modded outfits), then Texmod is needed. Texmod can also be used to make outfits (Tombripper also does the same thing but it's a little harder to use).
