Default NV Bios Flashing

I realize there is no support for this and I risk bricking my laptop. That said, I am running linux and would like to find more information about flashing the bios on my GF5200Go. It seems that the 5250 also uses the NV34M chip, so it could be as simple as a bios flash to get a upgrade. Even if i can't get the 5250 flash to work, I am interested in hacking the bios in general, as I would like to set the default clock speeds so I don't have to manually overclock every reboot.

Would also be interested in links to information on accessing hardware in general with Linux.
