Searching for a Nvidia 8400M G driver

Hi all !

I have the latest ASUS F3SC laptop with a 8400M GPU
http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_8400M.html
I'm under Linux Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn
The 100.14.06 drivers appear to support only 8400GS. When I install under Ubunu 7.04, X fails to start with a message tht the GPU is not supported.

When will there be support for 8400M?

I've installed the VESA driver by I have a bad reolution (1024*768 instead of 1280*800)

I'm in EXACTLY the same situation, including having to use a vesa driver.

Looks like the driver isnt out yet.

Please help us out Nvidia engineers!

(BTW you can get the wireless working with the ndis wrapper)

Yes I had seen you post already !

I use the VESA driver to in 1024*768 with a very poor quality.

So I've re-installed VISTA just for a few days I hope !! That's too much slow..!!

But under Ubuntu, the screen mak me crazy ...

Come on NVIDIA !! We are waiting... (I'm not alone.. Ouf ! )

PS : For Wifi, I don't need ndis wrapper, the wifi card is automatically installed !
