I think there is a either a game code issue or driver problem for me in SLI running DX10. Whenever the game goes to load a section on a level I am already in the game stops responding for me. I do not get this problem if I disable SLI or run the game in DX9 mode with SLI. It may be an issue with SLI in DX10 trying to run at high graphic levels because if I drop the resolution down to 1680x1050 with no AA it runs fine. The problem is I want to run at my monitor's default of 1920x1200. I can play with a single card with 2xAA, normal shadows, and 1024 shadow maps with everything maxed out but some parts don't run as well as I would like them to. The new patch did nothing to help it.

I run the Lost Planet DX10 demo with SLI with no issues and no other games give me issues so I am hoping a new driver fixes this.

I would also, like Magus, like to know if this is worth re-purchasing. I played throught the EU version import and loved it. Are there any differences in performance, multiplayer, singleplayer or graphically? (besides the dx10 effects)

I have the import version and also bought the US version recently. They took out some of the stealth elements and added more action for some of Billy's levels. I have only gotten a few levels into the DX10 version so far but one difference I already noticed is that when Billy escapes the saloon early on you get to grab a bow and some arrows already - you had to wait until the part where you meet the medicine man in the import version.

Yes, as said, the Billy levels are more action-oriented. I think even the US reviews are based on the EU version since they mention the forced stealth, but all the Billy levels I have played so far are action packed bow and arrow craziness.

patch will be released. I e-mailed Techland they did confirm that patch will be released. Just no ETA.

Patience, Techland is a small developer.

Man it sure is tough getting the performance up to speed in DX10 mode with this game! I think that SLI is not working though...
