Any clue how to get rid of this gfx glitch? Its in DX10 Vista, latest Vista drivers. Only happens when smoke and tree leafs 'cross' each other. Tried changing different FSAA, Supersampling, etc CP setting but still there. I'm guessing its a game/driver glitch, right?

I believe its the way AA is being handled via a shader in DX10. I know the screendoor effect does not exist when running with no AA.

I couldn't wait for patch and got it off ebay from US few months ago. It was brand new and sealed but I paid about 30 inc shipping for it. If there was a dx10 UK patch, I could have picked it up for less then 10!

Just finished the game.

Pros:
Great game, I give it a 9.0. Liked it more than Bioshock even.

Loved the DX10 textures, atmosphere and efx. So refreshing to have a western setting instead of WW2 or SpecOPs type crap all the time.

Enjoyed playing both characters each with their own abilities. Billy stealth segments gave me flashbacks of playing Thief. Had a few interesting puzzles I had to figure out which is good. Very minor
Actually got stumped at the cannon part.
Great huge variety in things to do and see along the way all mixed in with nice story and fantastic voice acting.

I was LOL when I had to Mission Task
go hunt for rabbits
but that gave me a good chance to see how really beautiful this game is.

This game is way underrated IMO.

Cons:
Would have liked to see more weapon variety and more levels. Finished game in about 12 hours est. And smoke has a screen door effect glitch with trees (not very often).

Those screenshots look amazing
I also finished the game but before its release in the US (europe version), and i liked it a lot too, the graphics (dx9) where simply gorgeous. I'm planning on playing it again but on dx10 mode. I supose those screenshots were taking with the dx10 patch right? I kind of lost the thread and don't know if there is already a dx10 patch for CoJ.

Ooh man that looks insane woow cant wait for the DX10 patch to arrive.
Techland is one fine dev, they really know how to code and their Zombie Shooter Dead Island seems like another great game.

Must be the best devs without a question from Poland

Yeah, I'm pretty impressed with the DX10 version. All textures should be this good as the DX10 ones but alas they are not.

DX10

DX9 crap blurry texture, I'm at same exact spot and distance away as pic above!!!
