8600 GTS Sli

I've been trying to get sli working with 2 8600GTS cards but whenever I go to run a full screen opengl app(when sli is used) the screen goes blank or 1/4 of the screen at the bottom blinks while the top portion is one color. Help appreciated. Thanks.
