Default Does 8800 GTS work with latest driver?

In the release notes it says added support for the following GPUs, and it lists the 8600 but not the 8800. Does this mean the driver doesn't work with 8800 GTS?

That's because the 8800 series was supported before 100.14.xx was released. See the driver README for the list of supported GPUs.
