Thanks Aaron,

As you can see by my earlier post, it's already been reported by someone else.

Thank you for the info on the Nvidia installer, I'll test that on a new install I've done for research purposes. I'll post the results back here, as I think this is great information for other Debian users, as I don't think it's widely known that the uninstaller would correctly restore the system to the state it was prior to executing the Nvidia installer.
