Default conflicts with webcam support

Hi to all.

i'm trying to setup a webcam based on the uvcvideo kernel module (an hp integrated webcam)

the module is loaded fine, but when i try to test the webcam in xawtv i get this

This is xawtv-3.95, running on Linux/x86_64 (2.6.18.8-0.3-default)

DGA support was removed from the NVIDIA driver over a year ago (and is documented in the driver README). You'll need to use a tool which doesn't rely on DGA.

do you see something wrong?

Looks like something is wrong with kdetv, however I don't see anything to suggest a driver bug.

Hi.

Finally solved.

i have to install some v4l2 packages

now it works with ekiga

its a pity that kopete only uses v4l and not v4l2 :-(
