I have a NVIDIA GeForce 6100 nForce 405 graphic card (chipset x03d1) running under an AMD ATHTLON 64 3500+ processor. In Suse Linux 10.2. (default-kernel) it actually works fine with the vesa driver, but in order to use beryl I would need the original NVIDIA driver.
I heard that this chipset is supported, although it does not occur in this list: http://www.nvidia.com/object/IO_18897.html Is my information correct? If yes, would this be the right driver selection? http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_d....14.11%20.html |

The supported chipset list is always in the README file of each release.
Check here: http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree8...ppendix-a.html According to that your card is supported by 100.14.11 |
