the X360 has better AA but the PS3 features slightly better lighting and it has far more TV and Movies on the TV.

Both systems have achievement like things, the X360 has Achievements while the PS3 has Accomplishments.

Get Xbox 360's version .. IGN just posted a split screen video Head to head with commentary (Link) and PS3's reduced framerate is very noticeable to the point I was saying "Ouch" when watching it, PS3's is also lacking AA which causes a lot of jaggies. If you own both systems theres really no reason to get it on PS3. The only advantage PS3's has is the tv's throughout the game show more content (due to the extra storage of bluray).

I ended up getting the 360 version. I will probably pick up Ninja Gaiden Sigma for my PS3 next week even though I already have the Xbox version.

Um really, better lighting? Because not a single review that I've read mentions anything about the PS3 version having better lighting than the 360 one.

Source?

The Head 2 Head video (PS3s looks like the color is better and the lighting more dynamic at times (when Copter passes over head the PS3 has a bloom affect while the X360 has nothing).

The Darkness is available on both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, and the differences between the two versions are pretty minimal. The PlayStation 3 version seems to have slightly better color than the 360 version, but the 360 version looks a bit sharper.

In case any one's wondering, here's a list of all the music videos and shows you can see on TVs in Darkness (I got the list while trying to rip the music from Darkness). This is from the 360 version, although I think the PS3 has the same amount of shows, only in better quality.

This is one of the few games on the 360 that uses a decent amount of AF on the textures. I was beginning to think that the 360 did not do AF. I have no idea what it looks like on the PS3 but all I know is that this game looks awesome.

I watched the comparison videos from IGN and right off the bat The Xbox 360 version seems to have better AA, motion blur effects and a noticeably better frame rate then the PS3 version. The PS3 version might be another Xbox360 port. Cross platform titles continue to favor the Xbox 360.

I think it all depends on which is the lead platform. Similar to last gen when Xbox got some shady performance from games that didn't seem that demanding graphically.

I think the game is definitely an Xbox360 port. All developer footage b/f release was taken on the 360 version. The tables should be turned when DMC4 is released.
