Default R6:Vegas and Vista, better or worse performance than XP?

So how does R6 perform on Vista? In some games, Vista gets better performance, but wasn't sure if this were true for this game.

Your thoughts?

Forcing AA on and forcing 1280x1024 I found Vista 64 to be smoother than XP for some reason.

At 1280x960 without AA, I think XP is better. Seems like higher res with more eye candy is faster in x64 Vista with this one.

How do you force AA in R6 Vegas? Is it the Oblivion profile trick?

I got pretty good framerates on Vista with an 8800GTS... Playing at 1680x1050 with all settings maxed except for shadows, which I had on medium, I got about 60FPS, dropping in high activity situations but never below 40 or so. I didn't force AA though, but I do have 16xAF forced on all my games.

Yea, you really need an 8800 for this game.

Agree with two last posts, my old 7950GT barely reached 25fps with medium detail, now my 8800GTX makes this game fly (well not fly, about 50fps, but that's not bad at 1920x1200)
