Hi folks,
Don't know if any of you have noticed this, but turning off protected mode in IE7 / Vista drastically gives it a rendering & speed boost. It actually seems to run aswell and fluent as Firefox does without that blasted mode turned on. Is there really any need for it?

I tested turned off protected mode, here was no performance differences with protected mode turned on.
I will leave it on by default, it make Vista far more secured than turned off protected mode, that will make Vista less secured.
