Hello, i managed to get my GeForce 7600GT to work at 1680x1050 with dual monitors but for some reason, it seems to lag alot. If im previewing screensavers for example, every time i view a new one, the system will freeze for about 15 seconds then resume. Im using the 100 series drivers.
Any suggestions? _Dan Log |

IHOD2007, if you'd like assistance you need to *attach* an nvidia-bug-report to this thread. Posting the bug report on a server that isn't readily available is not going to get you a faster response.

I tried attaching, when i click attach the attach page pops up with no content. I understand this isnt a CHAT but if i dont keep up my post will get buried. The only way i have that log is on my computer since i cant post it here so maybe i can get some advice without it...

Bumping a post with no useful content will get you banned. You'll need to sort out how to provide an nvidia-bug-report.log if you'd like further assistance.

I'm getting timeouts trying to download the bug report. Please attach the bug report to this thread. Until you do so, I cannot comment further.

I'm not timing out, but downloading at ~0.2KB/s. Once I finish I'll bzip2 it and post it for you.
EDIT: Here it is. |

You can try playing around with the __GL_YIELD environment variable; I think beryl sets this itself when it detects the NVIDIA driver is being used, so that might make it easier (or harder)..
