SWEET! I loved both SoF and SoF2. I'm almost looking forward to this more than Crysis- and I haven't even seen a screeny yet!

Yeah, maybe with the new engine made by John Carmack and I hope they make the gore-level more realistic and more extreme

But very good news, I love to play the first one and the second one was ... well ... good enough

Hell YES! SoF2 had some fine multiplayer, and let's not forget the random map generator for MP, even if it didn't work that well. And to think there wasn't even going to be an MP component to the game until a few months before it shipped.

I loved SoF's gore. I dunno about you, but when I blast someone's head off with a shotgun at point blank range I expect some/all of their skull to be missing. With what games like GTA get away with these days, PLEASE don't tone it down!

as much as I love SOF, and the countless hours I put into SOFII, I really don't see what they can do to it at this point to make it new and fresh... or fun even. So many other FPSs have come out between SOF2 and this new one.

I remember how you could sit and fire a few magazines into the stomach of a corpse and eventually the guts would be hanging out.

Or a single shotgun blast sometimes, and they'd grab the guts coming out as they died.

I wonder how they'd do these animations w/ragdoll...isn't that why CoD2 didn't have ragdoll body physics?
