Default Is Matrix Ultimate really worth it?

I've already got the SD version of all 3 matrix films... I wish the complete edition was cheaper but only £3 ($6) extra to get ultimate.

Its still a lot of money to see the same 3 films I already own/have seen at the cinema. It gets good reviews and I'm hovering over the buy button...

Am I going to be blown away by the difference or wishing I'd bought 3 other films to watch instead?

imo, there's a noticable difference in clarity between the SD and HD versions, particularly if you don't have an upconverting DVD player. If you do have one already you may feel that the difference is not drastic enough to warrant the price.

Nope, just a standard dvd player. I read that as well as fantastic PQ, the audio is great as well...

How large is your TV? The difference is more noticeable with larger TV's. The difference is quite noticeable to me on my 57" HDTV.

If...if...they had given The Animatrix the full HD treatment as well, I'd wholeheartedly recommend this particular triple-dip. But since they didn't...I'd say skip it and just get the trilogy set if you're going to get it in HD at all.

Currently using a 32", but will probably get a 40" in the next couple of months.

I may do that, but the price difference between ultimate and complete isn't much at all. Was going to order it this morning, but there is really no point until Monday as we are having a postal strike in the UK today!
