Yah, no.

When you're using a multi-monitor setup at work and need to get to the d'top for whatever reason, I think it's just a LITTLE easier to use win+D than moving the mouse across the world to get to the desktop icon.

I still have it there but it's not used nearly enough

Ctrl + D ... To send NVNEWS.net to your IE browser's favourites menu.

Ctrl + A ... to select all files in a folder (I use it a lot).

  • If you have low DPI mice, then you are X-n00bs!

Your left arm (including shoulder muscle, pectoral, lateral) is required to be elevated to the keyboard and push Win + D. I don't even have to move my hand off my mouse to click a shortcut icon. The human wrist consumes less energy than an arm; given that my hand is already on the mouse, it will consume less time if I simple flash the mouse over to the shortcut icon.

  • If you're running multiple monitors, you are also an X-n00b! Just get one of these:

  • (I was joking and AM joking, if you couldn't tell )
