Arrow Switching to external monitor on a Asus G1 does not work

Hi.

I'm installing Ubuntu Feisty 7.04 in a Asus G1 notebook and I can't switch between the LCD and an external monitor connected to the DVI port.
Both have the same native resolution so I tought that would be easy but right now I'm using twinview to have the external display working.
I could check that the ACPI event is fine, if I run windows I can make it work so I think this can be related to the driver.
The board is a Go 7700 and the driver is 9755. I tried to use the latest release at nvidia site, same result.
This is the only thing I need to fix to replace my desktop with this notebook.
Any tips?
Thanks in advance

Is it possible that no one else have the same problem? I'm starting to worry about this.

This isn't supported in 1.0-9755. You'll need to upgrade to 100.14.11.

Thanks, this actually works, but not directly on the keyboard but if I change the value in /sys/devices/platform/asus-laptop/display it does.
I'll have to figure out why the event is getting captured.
