Vista - SLI is gone?

I'm running Vista 32bit and I installed the beta 163.11 drivers but they were to unstable for me to use. So I went back to the 162.22 driver.

I don't have an option to turn SLI on or off in my nvidia control panel. What did I do wrong and how do I turn my SLI back on?

Oh and lets not mention its not in 163.11 driver either... How far future are we talking?

This is stupid....I've never been able to use my SLI because of either BSDs or part of the driver crashing in Vista.

Now I'm being punished and forced to wait.

I don't understand how its taking so long for a driver fix for something thats been out and tested over a year now. My 6800 cards have been out for 3 years.. so why the hold up or is nvidia just wanting to force people to buy a new card?

One more reason to make the Linux switch I guess.

Vista is a crap. SLI wont ever work propertly till Microsoft fixes their OS.

I sold my other 8800 GTS while I could still get good money for it simply because SLI in Vista is just a nightmare. Good thing the 9800's are supposed to be so screaming fast, single card set up FTW.
