Issue with Fedora 7, Nvidia 100.14.11 & dual display resulution

Hi all,

I'm running a Fedora 7 rig with Nvidia 7600 GT graphics card.

I have 2 monitors running in Xinerama.

One is DELL 2005FPW & the other one is Acer AL1916W.

The Dell is my primary display. It is running 1680x1050 and works great. However the second monitor has a native resolution of 1440x900 but X/Nvidia insist running it at 1400x1050 which is horrible .

I have attached my xorg.conf file. Could anyone please give me any pointers on how to get the Acer running at native display mode?

Does this problem persist if you explicitly request a 1440x900 mode in xorg.conf ?

I had a similar issue with the modes automatically generated.
I wrote the mode I needed and removed all the other ones in xorg.conf, which solved my problem.

I tried to add:

SubSection "Display"
Depth 24
Modes "1440x900"
EndSubSection

To the Acer display but still got 1400 x 1050.....

I guess i must do a line with Option "metamodes" .....Now it has.

Option "metamodes" "DFP-1: nvidia-auto-select +0+0

How would that one look to match 1440x900 ?

PS: Here is what my Xorg.0.log comes with for Monitor1:
(II) NVIDIA(1): Validated modes:
(II) NVIDIA(1): "DFP-1:nvidia-auto-select+0+0"
(II) NVIDIA(1): Virtual screen size determined to be 1400 x 1050

This solves my resolution problems. However my fonts are a bit weird....
