Default Dark screen after logout

Hi,

I use following configuration:

- SuSE 10.2
(Linux localhost 2.6.18.2-34-default, x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux)
- AMD Athlon64 X2 4000+ AM2
- NVIDIA Geforce 8500GT

und I have following problem:

After installing the apropriate nVIDIA Treiber using NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-100.14.11-pkg2.run, everything is allright except one thing:

After a "logout" the screen goes dark, and the only one action that helps, is a hard reboot.

Anyone some idea?

Thanks!
