Default Re: So who had the best E3 Conference for 2007?

360 has the beating on all cross platform games, plus more exclusives that are likely to be hits.

I seriously think 2007 and 2008 will be dominated, in a games sense, by the 360.

Lair doesn't offer up enough. Infact, MGS4 slightly interests me. The rest I aint too bothered about.

Mass Effect, Bioshock, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Conviction, Extra content with GTA4, PGR4, Halo 3, Fable 2, Ace Combat 6 etc....

But....

The most important part is Xbox Live. Considering most of my online chatter is done via MSN, having it on the console in another room is perfect.

I think the biggest thing is, most 360 titles are closer to what you could get on the PC platform except I can play on the HDTV sat on the sofa, not limited by a monitor.

You're not counting so many games, Assassin's creed, the new Splinter cell, condemned 2. It's not all about exclusives but both exclusives and multi-platform games, and this season MS has the best combination. Not to mention that every multiplatform game has been better on the 360 than ps3.
That depends on which console is the lead platform during development. So far 360 has been the lead in most multiplatform games, and PS3 versions are just ports. However, there're a few upcoming games where PS3 is the lead platform, Haze, DMC4...

To each either own, I guess. I don't like RPGs and racing games, so the only game in your list that interests me is Bioshock, but I'm getting it for the PC. And the thing that 360 and PC have similar titles is something I hate.

Did they say it was lead platform? Because I hope you're not making that conclusion just because it's a time exclusive..... all that means is that Sony paid the developer/publisher to keep it exclusive for some time. It has nothing to do with what their lead platform is.

Yes, in a FAQ or interview they said PS3 was the lead. I'll look for the link for you.

TBH I haven't seen too much, but the MS press conference was great IMO, showed great games on the horizon for not just the 360, but also PC, and presented some interesting data. A strong showing.

My vote goes to MS.
