I have had my 680i since release and at first I was getting data corruption due to sata errors. However after I flashed to P23 bios and higher I have had no issues. I think P27 bios gave a little performance boost if I'm not mistaken. For me it became a very solid board thru bios. I have no experience with P35 so far but am again interested in the topic for a friend who is building PC this month.

Wow, just noticed that in your sig. You dumped SLI and went for the P35. How do you like it so far?

I'm looking to purchase a new motherboard.

Is it worth waiting for the x38 chipset or shell i just go for the p35 chipset?

Are there any performance differences or more support for newer cpu's between the two chipset?

I will be using single graphics card solution.

Thanks

X38 will have dual full speed PCIe 2.0 x16 slots, and some enhancement for the memory controller.
