Default Newbie + new Drivers = errrrmm...what?

Hi

I've just installed mandrake 9.1 and tried to set up the new nvidia drivers. ive managed to successfully run the installer and extract the drivers. i've also managed to alter the xfree86 config file so that it reads:

Driver "nvidia"

However. when i boot back into KDE3.1 i see no discernable difference from the generic geforce 4 driver. I have a dual monitor set up (18" TFT & 19" AOC Monitor) and i want to know a couple of things.

Basically

- How do i actually discover if i am using the correct driver.
- How do i configure the new driver / configure my display settings in general.
- How do i configure my dual monitor set up so that they are both @ 1280x1024. I cant even figure out how i'd set up twinview in the first place.

If i could get some answers to these q's i'd be a lot happier.

Thanks,

Ben
