I love the xbox 360 controller, absolutely one of the best ever made IMO
I got the wireless and a play and charge kit..works perfect here

Nyeargh, I'm not that fond of it. Possibly the worst D-pad and buttons ever made. Nice layout though.

heh and who use the D pad these days ..just in menus I presume ?
IMO the D pad works great and the buttons are totaly perfect.

The only controller that comes close or even better is of course Sonys wonderfull ehhr dual/sixaxis

I traded mmy Saitek Rumblepad for the wireless Xbox360 gamepad for windows. Effing brilliant!! Just some games don't support "forcefeedback" Who cares, the feel is great on the hands and precise too

the d-pad sucks in my experiance..
Maybe they have made it better with the later controllers? I bought mine when the x360 got released and its impossible to play emu game with the d-pad

I take it you've never used the D-pad on a beat 'em up or hack 'n slash game then. The unresponsiveness of the buttons really do stand out. The D-pad is just terrible in 2D games like street fighter etc. The controller (to me) feels more suited to an FPS, and we all know most people thoughts about FPS's on a console here.

If anyone's played N3 for ther 360, they'll probably know what I'm on about with the crappy buttons.
