360 has a really nicely detailed guy right in front of you, but have lower textures on the rest of the map, which is a bit simpler and less complicated, but also has flashier eye candy lighting effects. Gameplay leans more to arcade.

The PC has higher textures/filtering overall for everything in the map, bigging and more complicated maps, and more toned and subtle lighting effects. Gameplay leans more to tactical. (BTW, there are multiplayer maps that look very green and tropical lush)

Its two different games.

Also, the multiplayer maps right now are really wide open.. Because of it, it feels like a bias towards long range shots and sniping. Hopefully GRIN will release the full map editor, so our mappers can create some city/tight quarters maps too.

I believe that you need a good PC and play the game , for to have an autonomous opinion, because you not is capable of supporting your opinion without the support of executors of the strategy of marketing of MS, Sony and the publishers . If there is something totally discredited in this world they are the reviews of the webs and the gamerankings. Nobody who is a lover of the cinema, of the music or of the literature, classifies it according to the oscars or the grammys that it has received this year or according to the classification of IMDB or Rottentomatoes, or see the television according to the audience ratings .

To people like you are these reviews , with one ridiculous overrating in ALL console versions

IGN PREY 360 review

9.0 Graphics
The ambitious scale alone garners Prey accolades, but the art design and attention to detail seal the deal

And this is the real world of GRAW 2 PC /360 in my videoproyector . That you see here mdude? If it is that it has an autonomous opinion

In that direct comparison shot check out the chicks face... wtf is she a zombie with her eyes rolled back? LOL the xbox360 character looks like crap, she looks much much much better on the PC.

And why in the comparison above is the Xbox 360 version showing fraps? LOL I think you have those two images swapped. The PC one is the one with fraps which looks much better also. Stop trying to lie to make the 360 look better when clearly its not. Look at the chicks face...much more detail on the PC (and the ss with fraps running in the beginning of the last post is the PC).

I think this game has some of the worst vegetation ever in a PC game.

something is also wrong with his aspect ratio... the characters in the PC screens are squished

There was a mistake with the links. Jonelo was proving that the PC version is better than the X360 and not that the X360 version is graphically good

yes prey was a port from pc to console and the pc version looks better. the same cant be said for graw however. gamespot, ign, and gamespy all agree the game does not look impressive, while they all praised the 360 version. all 3 sites also played the game on fast pcs, as their review rigs all contain 8800s and dual cores.

None of those reviews made a direct comparison between the X360 and the PC version in the graphics area. All of them said that the graphics are decent but not mind-blowing. Also, given the action oriented version of the X360 (compared to the tactical version of the PC) it's easier to be impressed by the ammount of explosions, which are still present and still amazing in the PC version (but not at the same ammount).

no lets quote what was said about the graphics of eahc version

gamespy

360 - stunning graphics
pc - GRAW 2 looks decent where it counts but isn't going to win any beauty contests

gamespot

pc - the other hit against the PC version is its drabness. The game recycles much of the textures and buildings from its predecessor, so the slums of Juarez look almost identical to the industrial areas of Mexico City. The game is dominated by its brown-and-yellow palette, and the color scheme is so bland and lifeless that it sucks a lot of life out of the otherwise solid graphic engine. You'd be hard-pressed to find something in the game that's a bright red or green or blue. Even the skies feel oppressive. The Xbox 360 did a much better job of actually creating environments that felt like they had some color and culture to them. The PC version feels like it's set in what appears to be the dullest and driest place on Earth
360 - The visuals in GRAW2 are also more stunning than in the original game, thanks to sumptuous atmospheric lighting and effects. The incredible scale remains; you'll again look out over vast cityscapes consisting of hundreds of buildings as you fly over in your Black Hawk Helicopter. But now, you can also take in the stunning vista of a setting sun over the desert or gaze at gigantic pillars of smoke rising from the fires of a war-torn Mexican city

ign

360 - Speaking of the kick-ass explosions, the graphical side of GRAW is a study in paradoxical subtlety and over-the-top effects. At first glance the visuals look underwhelming and similar to last year's effects. Again, last year's effort was fantastic, but this game, one year later, looks very similar. In both the single- and multi-player modes you'll see little changes. The lighting model produces what appears to be the same amount of HDR effects, but more objects catch and reflect that light, causing a greater sense of realism across the whole game. The character models are better textured, and even the dusty, rocky mountains of the US-Mexico border look crisp and diverse.
pc - Online or offline, GRAW 2's visuals aren't going to blow you away. There are a few nice sunset stages, but in general the maps look fairly bland. The same kind of huts, shanties, and buildings populate each stage, making the levels blend together instead of stand out. Oh, and there's another dam stage - Ubisoft is really on a roll with these things as of late. Making up for some of the underwhelming environmental visuals are the enemy animations. If they're on the move when lead hits their body armor, they keel over and go tumbling across the ground, sometimes weakly getting back on their knees only to absorb more bullets. The gun models look, feel, and sound quite good, though the reload animations lack the sort of urgency and strength you might associate with someone trying to jam more bullets into their gun in the middle of a firefight

sounds like a lot more than just explosions

Finished the SP game last night.

Good game that could be great with some tweaking.

Mainly need more enemies and have them move around for cripes sake. Most enemies were just sitting there stationary like targets just waiting to be shot.

Also, they needed to have enemies spawn from all sides constantly, not just during the way to obvious scripted parts. Game was way to easy even on Hardcore; once you cleared an area, it was clear. Heck all Hardcore did was make my health like 2%.

I give it a 7.5/10 but it should and could have been much better.

I thought the game is hard as it is (even on normal it was a bit hard IMO) ... & why the spawning in reallife enemy soliders do not spawn AFAIK , like the game is in need for something to make it harder
