Default nVidia GeForce 2 MX GPU Integrated

I have the motherboard A7N266-vm with nVidia GeForce 2 MX GPU Integrated. I formatted the disc today to better results. The only installed driver is 1.0-7185.

The Version: 1.0-7185 works perfectly with X but i have no render aceleration. Nothing with Opengl works for me.

I'm using Ubuntu Feisty 7.04 (2.6.20-16-generic)

ls -al /lib/linux-restricted-modules

(EE) GLX is not supported with the Composite extension

This has been discussed in other threads, as well as the driver README.

Thanks for your answer.

I searched for a solution but i have not found any specific solution for me.

I added the following lines to my xorg.conf

at device

Option "RenderAccel" "True"

At end

Section "Extensions"
Option "Composite" "Disable"
EndSection

but it not working for me I also commented the dri module and nothing.

Can you give me a TIP? I'm still searching in this forum.

Thanks

What specifically is not working? You need to provide an nvidia-bug-report.log each time you'd like assistance.

You have a kernel/X driver mismatch, which is an Ubuntu bug, I'm afraid. See the forum sticky posts.

I said nothing about a kernel bug. This is an Ubuntu packaging bug. As I stated earlier, see the forum sticky posts for a workaround, or contact an Ubuntu support group.
