Arrow Legendary: The Box Preview

A multi-platform FPS [2008] game to keep in your radar.
Quote:
Game**** Media Group first person shooter Legendary: The Box, developed by Spark Unlimited, presents a world suddenly thrust into chaos and turmoil when ancient creatures of myth are unleashed into modern day society, and it is up to you, as the cause of it all, to stop it all.
Quote:
It's all the more impressive because it's not scripted; all the NPCs in the environment react to the situation as it develops, forcing you to react on the fly. The developers behind Legendary worked on the original Medal of Honor games , the first one, Underground and Frontline -- so they know how to effectively connotate a chaotic situation. ".."
Legendary, in short, is meant to be dynamic. You don't weave through action set-pieces; you must constantly react on the fly as enemies do to you. They'll take cover, act to destroy your cover, and generally do everything they can to try to punch your ticket.

Spark Unlimited has access to UE3 as Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is UE3. So its very possible.

Yep. It's in the Sept issue of Hardcore Gamer magazine.

- FPS
- MP will feature the SP campaigns monsters, that both sides have to battle.
-AI -All creatures are aware of the dynamic objects in the world, and will adjust behavior accordingly. i.e. werewolves will pelt you with rocks to attempt to weaken or distract you before charging, and monsters and human adversaries very effectively flank, dodge, retreat and corner as needed.

- Healing energy is drawn from monsters, new weapons and ammo only from the "Black Order" soldiers.

Plus a bunch of screens that just look....as good as anything I've personally seen yet.

A trailer is there on that link also.
