X-server won't kill using nVidia driver on Fedora 7 with desktop effects
Just recently installed a fresh Fedora7 on my Dell D800 with a Fx5200. Everything worked fine. Also did a yum install of kmod-nvidia. The driver starts (the logo flashes) and everything works fine... until... I select to enable the desktop effects. At this point as soon as I try a log out, a Ctrl-Alt-Backspace or anything that should shut down the X server the machine is frozen displaying just the desktop image.
I can move the mouse pointer but that's about it.
Attached is the Xorg.0.log from start of xserver, enabling desktop effekts (that works ok) until a logout is selected.
Appreciate any ideas how to track this down and get things resolved.
