Looks interesting, though I got around this mostly with the 2gig fix, this would be a more elegant solution, because of punkbusted and the whole of changing the file header...
Still a mirror available?

thx

One of these hotfixes disables the ability to disable driver signing. I know that there was a recent security patch under the name kb932596. That update isn't installed and I still cannot disable driver signing which leads me to believe they did embed it in one of the 3 hotfixes. IMO this is just another to rip off developers. I don't feel like hitting F8 on every boot.

Wish I found out about the kb932596 patch before letting Vista update. I caunt uninstall it as its not in my update uninstall list and for some reason Vista hasn't been creating restore points. F8 is now my only option, sucks!!

I really wanted the updates but didn't install them because, I couldn't run any vid card OC apps I like Rivatuner or ATItool and few others. I finally tried Power Strip (latest ver.) and it has no trouble with the "signed driver" requirement. So I now I can run fully updated

yes you can, just press F8 everytime windows starts and choose disable driver signing

Yes, they fix the annoying BF2/BF2142 problem.
Which problem is that? Are you referring to the problem where it CTD everytime a new map loads if you have over 2GB of RAM in Vista x64, because if that's the case, this makes me VERY happy! Please let me know if this is the fix for the problem I'm talking about.

Also, I want to use RT too, but I only use it to O/C, but if ExperTool works, I'm fine with that. Just as long as I have something that will boot with the O/C settings I want.

Ditto.

There are three patches, I think. These two and then that 2GB one.

Ya know what's weird though, I haven't d/led the patch for the driver signing enforcement, yet I can't bypass it with the bcdedit command. It's just not there, so I'm thinking MS must have repackaged it within another update or renamed it.

Now, I didn't have have the update for large memory address fix though, but I do know and it works great. You say there are 3 updates. What's the third one? There's the driver signing enforcement, large memory address with 32-bit games and 64-bit OS's, and then what's the third one and where can I get it?

Thanks!
