After un-installing these fixes last night and booting up this morning, getting massive errors everywhere. Hope I don't have to format....

hmm, what errors? i also uninstalled both after the driver siging issue. Haven't had any errors.

Thanks so much! HDTach now reads much closer to xp and file copies are def quicker.

still something weird with my firewire drive. in xp i had constant in 40mb/s now in vista (with or without these updates) i get 16-20mb/s
