Default Nvidia, Please Answer My Question!!!!!

Does the newest Linux driver 100.14.11 in amd64 support dpms with an evga 8800 gts? I have filed a bug report and have received no response. When my screensaver switches to standby it simply scrolls the screensaver very quickly instead of turning off the display.

DPMS support is part of the core X server, not the X driver.

Thank You, So I am assuming that this is an xorg problem that prevents dpms.

Its impossible to speculate on what the issue is. You've not provided any of the information required by the forum sticky posts.
