SVIDEO via nvidia-settings TwinView
Small bug i presume.
Twinview is working fine with my tv after editing xorg.conf and passing lines
Option "TwinView" "True" Option "TwinViewOrientation" "Clone" Option "MetaModes" "1440x900,1024x768; 640x480,640x480" Option "UseEdidFreqs" "True" Option "TVOutFormat" "SVIDEO" Option "TVStandard" "PAL-G" Option "ConnectedMonitor" "DFP, TV"
As you all know u can activate twinview and tvout without actually editing xorg.conf or restarting X, which is a great feature, but the problem lies in that when you use nvidia-settings to activate TV-out(twinview). The picture is black and white.
Is this a problem with nvidia-settings, that lacks options Tvoutformat and TVStandard (which work in xorg.conf) so it doesn't display color picture on TV ?
Since i get everything nice and working by editing xorg.conf and restarting X, it would be nice if i could do it form nvidia-settings gui (i presume everyone else), with color, without restarting X. (just like in windows )
Card is 7600gs, distribution is Ubuntu Feisty, but i guess it doesn't matter.
Thx for your replay and sorry for the long post.
