Nope Mr eleminator I dont really hates consoles.I have own most of em annyway but I hate when they cant make us Pc gamers happy and do some better textures and so. the art assets surely is superhigh.

Ahh we shall see maybe it's like jackup says about the DX10 mode.

Wait, what?

People are complaining that the game's physics aren't running above 30 hz? Is that it? That the textures on every surface aren't 2k by 2k wide?

Jeeze, you kids are spoiled. You want to see a game that was console-ised look at Deus Ex 2. Game was damn near unplayable on a PC. Look at the port of Halo, which was originally supposed to be a Mac & PC game.

Hell, if anything Bioshock had those limitation because of the varied and often underwhelming PC platform. You should have seen how System Shock 2 looked when it came out, and nobody could blame that on it being "console-ised". That was just an effort to have the game be playable by the greatest number of people.

Ever thought why the textures would be low? No? Could it be because it's a demo, and they didn't want to bloat the overall filesize bigger than it had to be?

we need some dx9 vs dx10 comparison screenshots because it doesnt seem like much difference from the pictures... hope i didnt install vista for nothing

Just enjoy the game, stop being so analytical.

There will no doubt be tweaks to come, and have higher rez textures in the full version of the game. A demo is just that a lil test to show you the kind of expierence that can be expected somewhat.

In most screens the biggest difference will be the soft edges around the shadows in the dx10 version, and the water has some more dynamic effects, so those that cannot use the dx10 mode is not missing much.

It would be nice if the dx10 mode had msaa support, as it's not possible to do msaa in dx9 with the u3 engine, but it should be possible in dx10
