Amazing.

I'd rather play CSS than CS TBH, but the game is still running strong. Just awesome.

I always have fun on a good Crackhouse DM server.

I've never been a big fan of CS..Played mohaa competitively at the time of its release so never got in there from the start. However, this has to be the most sucessful competitive FPS of all time...shame that it is riddled with hackers nowadays and the newest CSS patch killed the game off competitively or so i was told.

I would be very interested in a CS2 if it had a new engine and wasn't consolised.

Most likely due to the fact it can be played on a p2-with a voodoo card,tbh I never did like the game all that much,and ccs added nothing to the mix,for me anyways.

My favorite FPS was CoD1

I played the hell out of CS though, but it's tired and I don't think I could go back to it again.

man I used to play the HELL out of the original CS back when it FIRST came out.. it and the original team fortress were so much fun.

Then everyone started to cheat/hack and it has pretty much turned me off of the entire online multiplayer deathmatch ever since...

Ironically, one of the fun parts of the original CS was the old HL1 physics. Namely you can actually stand on top of things like tables, chairs, etc, and other players could boost you up to certain spots that are otherwise impossible to get to.

In CS:S if you try to stand on say a table for example, you just slide off like it was a big traffic cone or something. And other players can't help boost you up.

These may not sound like much but they allowed for tactical advantages, more teamwork, etc. Just made the game overall more fun.

Wow, I haven't played CS in like 5 years... that game used to make me so freaken mad I would punch my table... too damn addicting though, like crack cocaine...
